Growth
Spiritual – Through devotions, the content of speakers, and interaction with our mentor moms and each other, we are given opportunity to grow spiritually and move even one step closer to Jesus in our relationship with Him.
Educational – Through safety presentations, informational speakers, and interaction with each other, we a given the opportunity to grow in our knowledge in our mothering role and guiding our children as they grow physically, emotionally, and spiritually.
Creative – During the year, we do a few crafts which gives us opportunity to tap in to our creative talent, or to be inspired by the talent of others within our group.
Relationships
Mentorship (Titus 2:4) – Mothers who have been through this season of life support us by lending an ear, giving advice, and encouraging us on the journey.
Retreat and Time Away – We understand and value the importance of refreshment in our roles as mothers. Each year we have a weekend retreat aimed at just that, a refreshing time of building and strengthening relationships with other mothers in our group. Another great way to build friendships is through attending our randomly planned Mom’s Night Out throughout the year.
Table Groups - Each mom is placed in a table group with a table leader and mentor mom. Through these connections, it is our hope that you will be able to building lasting relationships that support you in your role as a mother.
Childcare
Staffed homeschool room – Don’t let the fact that you homeschool keep you from a refreshing morning out!! We have a staffed room specifically for those children that need a quiet place to continue their school work.
Safety – Our childcare workers have all required clearances through the state of Pennsylvania.
Positive Social Interaction – While you have time with other adults, your precious children will be given the opportunity to interact with other children their age in a safe and enriching atmosphere.
Accommodating– Whatever struggle your child may be facing, our childcare workers do their very best to give your child a sense of feeling loved, protected and cared for.
Service and Outreach
For each other – We understand the importance of serving each other during the bigger moments in life…
- the addition of a new baby to your home, whether through adoption, birth, or foster care,
- struggling with a sickness or health issue
- the loss of a job or loved one
It is our hope that if you are facing something that brings an extra strain on your role as a mother, that you will let your table leader know so that we have the opportunity to reach out to you and support you in the way that makes you feel most loved and cared for by our group.
For the community – Throughout the year, our Service and Outreach Coordinator will lead us in many projects that support different places in our community and abroad. These projects often link to passions in the hearts of women within our group.
